We're looking forward to a great 2009/2010 snowmobiling season in White River! While it's hard to say when we'll have enough snow to be able to pull the sleds out, there are some things you can do in the meantime to get prepared for the upcoming season.
Check Your Snowmobile
Foremost, make sure your snowmobile is in top mechanical condition. It's best to do this now, so your sled is ready-to-go once the snow falls. You may want to make sure you're stocked up on gas and oil, and any other parts you may need.
Check Your Gear
We're hoping for milder temperatures, but you still want to be prepared for those cold, cold days. Check all your gear, and see if anything needs to be replaced. Make sure your helmet and goggles are in good shape. Also be sure to place some reflective tape on your gear so you are visible at night.
Buy Your Permit
A full season pass is only $200 right now. This will go up to $250 after December 1, 2009, so best to act early. You can apply online through the OFSC. Click here for more information.
We look forward to seeing you on the trails!
